We’re excited to announce the latest update of our Parkinson’s Disease Digital Twin Generator: PD DTG 1.1. Released just a month after the solid foundation of PD DTG 1.0, this updated model introduces significant enhancements that expand the coverage of outcomes for upcoming PD trials.

MDS-UPDRS Items Integration

PD DTG 1.1 DTG now predicts more granular information compared to the first version. While the previous version predicted the Movement Disorder Society-Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) subscore from its three main parts, PD DTG 1.1 dives deeper. It predicts 59 items of MDS-UPDRS Parts I, II, and III individually, improving its capability to predict the derived MDS-UPDRS part and sub-scores.

PPMI Milestones

In our continuous effort to align with the evolving landscape of PD research, PD DTG 1.1 now includes PPMI Milestones (Brumm 2023) in three critical domains. This addition reflects the industry’s growing interest in milestone-based metrics as an alternative to traditional MDS-UPDRS endpoints, particularly considering their diminished sensitivity to recent dopaminergic therapy. By predicting various PPMI milestones, PD-DTG 1.1 stands at the forefront of this shift, offering a tool aligned with emerging measures in PD clinical trials.

Our Commitment to Eliminating Trial and Error in Medicine

This latest release isn’t just an update; it underscores our work today revolutionizing clinical trials and our ultimate mission to advance AI to eliminate trial and error in medicine. While historically focusing on neurology, we’re rapidly expanding into other disease areas, as seen with the introduction of our Crohn's DTG last month. Our aim is to offer comprehensive DTGs, paving the way for more efficient and accurate clinical trials across various diseases that bring effective new treatments to patients sooner.
