Joy is a former biology researcher turned communications specialist with interests in machine learning and healthcare. She holds a B.A. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and two graduate degrees in the biological sciences from the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford University. Joy has diverse experiences that reflect her broad interest in science, technology, and innovation. She was a technology licensing fellow specializing in life sciences at the Penn Center for Innovation; passed the patent bar exam; and blogged for the Dish on Science, a graduate student-led science writing group at Stanford.
