Head of Partnerships

Boston, New York, or San Francisco Bay Area

You will work hand in hand with company leadership to identify and build relationships with potential partners. We’re a startup, so you will initially work as an individual contributor before scaling the sales team as we grow.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Writing the sales playbook that will help guide your team’s day-to-day activities and processes.
  • Building out our initial sales pipeline by identifying and developing leads and manage sales funnel.
  • Delivering presentations to customers, executive team, and board of directors.
  • Defining, tracking, and reporting key sales metrics.

You are a sales or business development professional with experience selling into biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies who wants to take on a company defining role by building and leading a sales organization from scratch.

You understand how pharmaceutical companies are organized and can identify and reach key decision makers in clinical drug development programs. You have a proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing successful, high-impact business deals.

You'll likely have:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales roles where you have sourced and executed partnership, licensing, and/or strategic sales deals with life sciences companies
  • Deep understanding of the key players and decision makers in clinical drug development programs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with multiple audiences (i.e., customers, executive team, board of directors)
  • Bachelor’s degree
